The explosion-proof panels limit the area affected by fire and pressure caused by the explosion. With the overpressure from the explosion, the panels open in designated points and allow pressure to escape through the surfaces of the open panel.
There are different types of explosion-proof panels available based on the different applications and conditions of use: rectangular, circular, plate, concave, etc.
Generally they are installed directly on the walls of the machine to be protected (bag filters, storage silos, cyclones, etc.).
