Painting booth with external dry scrubbing

Painting booth with dry scrubbing for the filtering of air containing powder particles from aerosol which form when liquids such as water, or types of varnish, adhesive and lacquer solvents, etc. are sprayed.

The principle of operation is the following:

a depression is created which causes the forced circulation of airflow through the filters. This flow conveys the airborne particles of paint to the filter with any environmental dispersion. The basket filters capture the paint pigments and the purified air, free of solid pigments is discharged.

Further Details

The painting booths with dry scrubbing are modular and constructed from bended galvanized sheet metal bolted to each other and reinforced with punch-pressed U profiles.
The front suction is equipped with a positive pressure housing for the basket filters.
Normally, Mion Ventoltermica painting booths with dry scrubbing are consist of:

  • suction walls constructed from fibreboard panels with a support frame with filter extractors;
  • low pressure fan;
  • fan – booth connectors;
  • smokestack for fume exhaust with umbrella hood and connection sleeves;
  • convex galvanized sheet metal to plug smokestack exit;
  • digital or analogue pressure gauge to indicate saturated filters to be replaced.

If there is no centralized filtration system, an anti-spark version of a centrifugal fan can be assembled on the roof.
This type of booth is suitable for the continuous painting of even large dimension parts.

ADVANTAGES:

  • efficient abatement of paint particles.
