Thermovelocimetric probe

The thermovelocimetric probe is applied for the purpose of fire prevention in heat controlled processes. Thanks to the thermovelocimetric principle, it is possible for alarm signals to be activated much sooner than with a tradition thermostatic probe.
This probe generates an alarm signal after the set threshold temperature has been reached and in relation to the speed with which the ambient temperature changes.

Further Details

The thermovelocimetric probe is controlled by a microprocessor and sends data (°C) to a control unit.

ADVANTAGES:

  • alarm indication without reaching temperatures typical of a fire;
  • continuous monitoring;
  • reduced maintenance.
